Can this be your vision and your prayer?
Call me foolish. Call me a naive dreamer. Call me a heretic and another misguided charismatic. I don’t care. I yet look forward to latter rain when the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the resurrected Jesus Christ, moves with Book of Acts power and authority. I see unbelievers in great numbers recognizing the dark end of their present manner of life and repenting to turn their hearts toward God. I see believers easily and quickly receiving the born-again in-filling of the Holy Spirit and then the baptism with the Holy Spirit just as did the Book of Acts believers. I see believers starting out with the prayer language of 1 Corinthians 14:2 and then moving quickly and easily into the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit listed at 1 Corinthians 12:8-11. I look for the day believers will be taught about the gift of discerning of spirits and will be instructed in the Biblical method for casting out demons. I look for a day when Christians will move not only in words and kindness but also in delivering and freeing power. Yes, call me foolish. Call me a naive dreamer. Call me heretic and a misguided charismatic. I don’t care. I pray for the latter rain.
